Rayong

Rayong (ระยอง) is a province in the east of Thailand. I visited Ko Samet (เกาะเสม็ด) one weekend in mid 2007, spending a night on the island. We stayed on Ao Thian (I think?) which is known as Candlelight Beach. Had a nice bungalow into which we crammed 6 people. 3000 Baht for the night. We went on a boat around the island stopping at several places to do some snorkelling. I would go back, but would like to have several days so could do some trekking around the island.
