Navigating the Pages

Navigating the Photo Pages
The photo pages are generated automatically using the album software; there are some general guides you can use when navigating between photos:
- The photos pages will normally start with one (or more) index pages which categorise the photos into groups. Select the group you want to view.
- All photos in a group are shown in thumbnail (small) form on a page. To view the photo click on the link (caption) or click on the photo itself.
- Thumbnails of portrait photos (i.e. photos that are taller than they are wide) are cropped such that you will only see the top of them. However when you view the medium-sized and large-sized photos, the full photo is shown.
- The photo displayed on the page is normally a medium-sized photo for viewing purposes. If you want to view the original (large) photo, click on the medium-sized photo (or the link above it).
- You can navigate between photos using the links at the top of the page (e.g. up to the group index, the next photo, or return to the photos index).
- If there is no link to the contents, then use your browser Back button to return to the contents.
- Some browsers automatically re-size images to fit the page. You can disable this feature if you want to see the orignal (large) photo in its full size. In Internet Explorer the option can be found from the Tools menu in the Internet Options: Advanced tab and is called 'Enable Automatic Image Resizing'.
